Basketball Recap: Isaiah Falby's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Loganville Christian Academy over Stratford Academy

Loganville Christian Academy and Stratford Academy squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Loganville Christian Academy had to settle for second. They lost 71-48 to the Stratford Academy Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 51-48 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.

Loganville Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaiah Falby, who posted 11 points. Falby is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Anderson, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 12 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Loganville Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 12-18. As for Stratford Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

Loganville Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stratford Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-64 loss against Tattnall Square Academy on the 22nd.
