League recap: O'Dell dominating on the mound for Northern Burlington

Tyler O'dell was the best pitcher in Burlco - Liberty this week, leading Northern Burlington. He won two games and struck out seven batters.

The league's longest active winning streak belongs to Moorestown (11-5, 4-2), undefeated over its last eight games. In the past week, the Quakers won another game,. Tyler Kaiser led the lineup this week with zero hits and zero RBIs.

Although the 33 runs scored by the Greyhounds topped the league, Burlington Township maintained its lead in the league with 146 runs this season.

Pemberton put just nine batters on base with walks in the past week, but the Falcons' pitching staff has had the best control this season, surrendering a base on balls only 76 times in 129 innings this year.



The week's strikeout crown belonged to Zach Gakeler, who turned in 10 Ks for Northern Burlington. He's second in the league with 38 total strikeouts.

Burlington Township's Bryan Bessinger led the league with seven hits this week. His 30 hits for the year are first in the league, and he boasts a .411 batting average.
