Soccer Recap: Paris Takes a Loss

After soaring to five goals the game before, Paris was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Pittsburg Pirates who were credited with the victory. The Pittsburg Pirates got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Paris Wildcats' four. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Paris has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Pittsburg, they moved to 4-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Paris is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Liberty-Eylau at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pittsburg has already played their next game (against Mount Vernon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
