Softball Game Preview: Pascagoula Panthers vs. West Harrison Hurricanes

For the second straight game, Pascagoula will face off against West Harrison. The Panthers will head out on the road to challenge the Hurricanes at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, Pascagoula needed a bit of extra time to put away West Harrison. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hurricanes, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since March 20th.

Anneleese Rabon made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over eight innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Rabon wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Ty'Mia Bell, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

West Harrison's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Pascagoula, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-12.
