Softball Recap: Jamestown Eagles vs. Tabb Tigers
Jamestown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 4-1 to the Tabb Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in March.
Jamestown saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Hughes, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Jamestown's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Tabb, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Jamestown is set to take on their familiar foe Poquoson at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Tabb will face off against rival New Kent at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
