Volleyball Recap: Burbank Comes Up Short

Burbank lost against Randolph on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Ro-Hawks by a score of 2-1. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Burbank saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Zayla Mesbah had six digs and two aces. Sophia Godina also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Burbank now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Randolph, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.

Burbank didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Highlands on the 19th. As for Randolph, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Marble Falls on the 19th.
