Soccer Recap: Catholic's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

Catholic came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Western Branch Bruins, falling 5-0. The contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Catholic struggled afterwards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Catholic fell to 4-1. As for Western Branch, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Catholic didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Steward on the 4th. As for Western Branch, they will take on Smithfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Smithfield will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Western Branch surely won't give up without a fight.
