West Florida Baptist Academy came tearing into Tuesday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.6 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Gulf Pointe Latin Gladiators, posting a 54-21 win. With the Conquerors ahead 39-5 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Florida Baptist Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bryse Burkett, who went 6-for-9 on her way to 14 points and five steals. Burkett has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 13 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Makenna Enfinger, who went 5-for-7 en route to 12 points and five steals.

Despite the defeat, Gulf Pointe Latin saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kaitlyn Lothringer posted six points and six rebounds.

West Florida Baptist Academy's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-5. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.0 points over those games. As for Gulf Pointe Latin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-8.
