After losing to East Limestone the last time they met, Scottsboro decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Scottsboro Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the East Limestone Indians on Tuesday.

Scottsboro's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for East Limestone, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.
