Football Recap: The Webb Schools' Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

The Webb Schools put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Loara Saxons as they made off with a 35-14 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Gauls also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The Webb Schools had a senior duo take command as Mikey Pino threw for 399 yards and four touchdowns and Alec Kaushal picked up 287 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Kaushal was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 66 yards. Jimmie Brown got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The Webb Schools didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Michael Albornoz, Brown, and Aidan Kaushal picked up one apiece. Brown got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The Webb Schools' win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Loara, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The Webb Schools will host Channel Islands at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Loara, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Century at 6:30 p.m. on the 25th.
