Volleyball Game Preview: Albuquerque Academy Chargers vs. Hope Christian Huskies + How To Watch

The Albuquerque Academy Chargers will challenge the Hope Christian Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Albuquerque Academy comes in on three and Hope Christian on six.

Albuquerque Academy had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Valley on Tuesday. The Chargers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Vikings.

Albuquerque Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-16, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Hope Christian made easy work of Bernalillo on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-9, 25-13.

Hope Christian's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Albuquerque Academy, their win bumped their record up to 10-6.

Albuquerque Academy suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Hope Christian when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Can the Chargers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
