Soccer Recap: Bayonne Comes Up Short

Bayonne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Becton Wildcats, falling 3-0. Bayonne were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Becton apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2015.

Bayonne's loss dropped their record down to 1-7-2. As for Becton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Bayonne will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kearny at 4:30 p.m. on the 13th. As for Becton, they will challenge Bogota on Monday.
