South Loup came into Thursday's match having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Twin Loup Wolves on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in September.

While South Loup might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Twin Loup scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20.

Nyachay Haidle paced South Loup's offense, picking up ten kills. Haidle got some help from Rae Hagler and her 18 assists. Emma Stallbaumer controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

South Loup's victory bumped their record up to 3-14. As for Twin Loup, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.

Coincidentally, South Loup and Twin Loup will both be playing Sandhills Valley the next time they take the court. Twin Loup will head out to face Sandhills Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while South Loup will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
