Redding Christian came tearing into Thursday's match with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Chester Volcanoes as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-1 win on October 7th.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11, 25-11.

Aliyah Mendoza paced Redding Christian's offense, picking up 13 kills. Mendoza got some help from Kamalia Mizuta and her 24 assists.

Redding Christian's victory bumped their record up to 22-8-3. As for Chester, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-13 record this season.

Redding Christian and Chester are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches.
