Volleyball Recap: Pacelli Takes a Loss

Pacelli was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Crivitz Wolverines. If the Cardinals were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Wolverines when the teams met back in October of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hattie Frievalt was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 12 assists and five digs. Piper Wesner also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Pacelli's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Crivitz, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

Coming up, Pacelli will welcome Almond-Bancroft at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crivitz, they will venture away from home to face off against Oneida Nation at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
