Baseball Recap: Buena Vista Takes a Loss

Buena Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 20-2 to the Omaha South Packers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bison of the 21-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Buena Vista saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anderson Craig, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Buena Vista's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Omaha South, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Buena Vista is set to square off against their familiar foe Papillion-LaVista South at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Omaha South will face off against rival Mount Michael Benedictine at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
