Godwin strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They never let the Hermitage Panthers get on the board and left with a 13-0 win. Give the Eagles' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Katelyn Hubley was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Bella Ross, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Gabrielle Coleman was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one double.

Godwin's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-0. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.9 runs over those games. As for Hermitage, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
