Garden Plain came tearing into Saturday's contest with nine straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Nickerson Panthers. The Owls have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Ellie Thul paced Garden Plain's offense, picking up six kills. Thul got some help from Jaicey Stuhlsatz and her 22 assists. Stuhlsatz was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Garden Plain's win bumped their record up to 24-5. As for Nickerson, their loss dropped their record down to 9-22-2.
