Denzel Diaz was a standout: he got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Parker Gabbard, who scored three runs while going 2-for-2.

Braden River always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .606. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Braden River now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Riverview Sarasota, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.

Riverview Sarasota came up short against Braden River in their previous matchup back in February, falling 4-1. Can Riverview Sarasota avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
