The Mt. Pleasant Christian Lions pushed their score all the way to 60 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 61-60 to Glen Iris Baptist. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Mt. Pleasant Christian in their matchups with Glen Iris Baptist: they've now lost six in a row.

Joshua Everett continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Glen Iris Baptist, scoring 19 points along with six assists and three steals. Everett is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jackson Dickey, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds.

Mt. Pleasant Christian's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Glen Iris Baptist, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.
