Basketball Recap: Old Town Takes a Loss

Old Town was the 49-42 winner over Mount Desert Island when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Old Town Coyotes lost to the Mount Desert Island Trojans at home by a 67-52 margin on Tuesday.

Old Town's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Mount Desert Island, their victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

Old Town will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Greater Houlton Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. As for Mount Desert Island, they are taking a road trip to square off against Orono at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
