Jasper and Vidor are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2021, but likely not for long. The Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Pirates at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Jasper's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Jasper came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 4-1 to Lumberton. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Jasper couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Vidor had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They never let the Hawks get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory.

Jasper's loss dropped their record down to 11-8-1. As for Vidor, their win bumped their record up to 10-11-2.

Jasper skirted past Vidor 3-2 when the teams last played back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
