Baseball Recap: Daniel Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Daniel can now relate to. They fell just short of the Seneca Bobcats by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Daniel saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Quint Cumbie, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Daniel's defeat dropped their record down to 21-11. As for Seneca, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 28-5.

As of now, neither Daniel nor the Bobcats have any future games scheduled.
