Upper St. Clair fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Central Catholic on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 48-46. The close contest was extra heartbreaking for the Panthers, who almost overcame a 20 point deficit.

Meanwhile, Canon-McMillan didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Imani Christian Academy on Friday, but they still walked away with a 54-48 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Big Macs.

Canon-McMillan's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Upper St. Clair, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
