Soccer Game Preview: Concord Academy vs. Carmel Christian

Concord Academy is 0-7 against Carmel Christian since August of 2017 but things could change on Friday. The Eagles will square off against the Cougars at 7:00 p.m.

Concord Academy fought the good fight in their overtime match against Asheville Christian Academy on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 3-2.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Carmel Christian made sure to put some goals up on the board against Davidson Day on Tuesday. They never let the Patriots get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. That four goal margin sets a new team best for Carmel Christian this season.

Concord Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Carmel Christian, their win bumped their record up to 4-6-1.
