Basketball Game Preview: Alcott Wildcats vs. Raby Raiders

Having just played yesterday, the Alcott Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Raby Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Alcott will be strutting in after a victory while Raby will be coming in after a defeat.

It was a proper cat-fight when Alcott took on Chicago Sullivan on Thursday. Alcott pulled ahead with a 64-63 photo finish over Chicago Sullivan. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Raby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by Perspectives-IIT/Joslin 79-21. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 654th, while the Wolves are ranked 260th).

Raby's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Alcott, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.
