Volleyball Recap: Minnechaug Regional Wins High-Profile Contest Against Longmeadow

Minnechaug Regional faced Longmeadow in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Falcons won by a set and slipped past the Lancers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Falcons have posted since October 22, 2024.

Jordan Miller was the offensive standout of the contest as she had nine digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

When it comes to explaining why Longmeadow lost, don't look at Annie Kro. Despite the final result, she had eight digs and five aces.

The victory (which was Minnechaug Regional's third in a row) raised their record to 18-3. As for Longmeadow, they moved to 18-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

As of now, neither Minnechaug Regional nor the Lancers have any future games scheduled.
