Greer had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 12-10 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They walked away with a 10-6 win over the Daniel Lions. The Yellow Jackets' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

As for Daniel, the loss snapped their winning streak at ten games and leaves them with a 18-7 record. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this game were averaging 3.84 runs allowed.

For Daniel's part, they got a good showing from Jackson Ownbey, who pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Ownbey has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Quint Cumbie made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and three runs. Another player making a difference was Eli Payne, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Coming up, Greer will head out to take on Easley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Daniel does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
