Basketball Recap: Spanish River Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Spanish River won the last time they faced West Boca Raton, and Edens Dortelus did his part to make sure it happened again. The Spanish River Sharks came out on top against the West Boca Raton Bulls by a score of 52-43 on Friday thanks in part to Dortelus, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Spanish River moved to 7-11 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for West Boca Raton, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.

Spanish River didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 40-34 defeat against New Smyrna Beach on the 25th. West Boca Raton has also already played their next game (against Dr. Joaquin Garcia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
