Meanwhile, Steel Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Jeannette, falling 10-2.

Steel Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adam Keesecker, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Sto-Rox's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Steel Valley, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
