Softball Recap: Caldwell Parish Takes a Loss

Caldwell Parish lost against West Ouachita back in February of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Caldwell Parish Spartans fell 12-9 to the West Ouachita Chiefs.

Caldwell Parish's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for West Ouachita, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Caldwell Parish is taking a road trip to take on LaSalle at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. LaSalle's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Caldwell Parish's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for West Ouachita, they will face off against Airline at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
