Basketball Game Preview: Ridgeline Falcons vs. University Titans

Ridgeline and University are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2022, but not for long. The Ridgeline Falcons are taking a road trip to square off against the University Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ridgeline knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully University likes a good challenge.

Ridgeline is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Mead just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell to the Panthers 61-57. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 156th, while the Panthers are ranked 38th).

Meanwhile, University was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 70-64 to Mt. Spokane. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

University's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Ridgeline, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.

Ridgeline strolled past University in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a score of 65-47. Will Ridgeline repeat their success, or does University have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
