Softball Recap: Brownstown/St. Elmo Takes a Loss

Brownstown/St. Elmo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Bobcats from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Brownstown/St. Elmo's record now sits at 1-12. As for Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brownstown/St. Elmo will face off against Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, they will take on Dieterich at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
