Gentry's win ends four-game losing streak on the road

Recap: Gentry Rams vs. Greenville Hornets

The Gentry Rams can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They secured a 55-49 W over Greenville. The victory was just what Gentry needed coming off of a 73-47 defeat in their prior game.

Despite the loss, Greenville had strong showings from Gymanuel Wells, who scored 19 points, and Tamarion Rhodes, who scored eight points along with four steals.

Gentry's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-13. As for Greenville, they dropped their record down to 6-12 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gentry will take on Yazoo City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Yazoo City presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Gentry in Mississippi (Yazoo City is ranked first, while Gentry is ranked 153rd). As for Greenville, they will be playing at home against Canton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
