Elma is 8-2 against Hoquiam since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Elma Eagles will challenge the Hoquiam Grizzlies at 6:00 p.m. Elma's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Elma's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rochester on Tuesday. The loss was the Eagles' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Hoquiam scored the most goals they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against Montesano, falling 6-3. The Grizzlies' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Elma fell to 1-1-1. As for Hoquiam, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3-1.

Elma came out on top in a nail-biter against Hoquiam when the teams last played last Monday, sneaking past 1-0. Does Elma have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hoquiam turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
