Fontainebleau came tearing into Saturday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 49-47 victory over the Slidell Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since December 12, 2023.

Slidell's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was James Chaney, who went 7 of 14 on his way to 17 points. The contest was Chaney's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zavier Bolden, who posted six points and eight rebounds.

Fontainebleau pushed their record up to 19-13 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game.
