Baseball Recap: Carrabec Comes Up Short

If Carrabec was riding high fresh off their 17-3 takedown of Rangeley Lakes last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cobras came up short against the Forest Hills Tigers on Thursday, falling 12-1. The Cobras were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Carrabec saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Caldwell, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Caldwell has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Carrabec has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Forest Hills, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Carrabec will take on Buckfield at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Forest Hills, they will head out to face off against Rangeley Lakes at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
