Softball Recap: Normal University Pioneers vs. Lexington Minutemen
Normal University came out on top against Lexington on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run second inning. The Pioneers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 win over the Minutemen. The victory continues a trend for the Pioneers in their matchups with the Minutemen: they've now won four in a row.

Normal University got a great performance from Makenzie Post as she struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts Post has posted over her last 14 contests.
