Basketball Recap: Olympia Takes a Loss

Olympia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They fell 48-40 to the Midwest Central/Delavan Raiders. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Olympia's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Midwest Central/Delavan, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Olympia will head out to square off against Bloomington Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Midwest Central/Delavan, they will head out on the road to take on Illini Central/Greenview at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
