Basketball Recap: Rice Lake Triumphs

Rice Lake had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 74-63 win over the New Richmond Tigers on Tuesday. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 59-57 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

This is the second loss in a row for New Richmond and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Rice Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for New Richmond, they will take on Eau Claire Memorial at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. New Richmond knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Eau Claire Memorial likes a good challenge.
