Soccer Recap: Elyria Catholic Comes Up Short

Elyria Catholic's game on Wednesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Berea-Midpark Titans by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Elyria Catholic of the 10-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2015.

This is the second loss in a row for Elyria Catholic and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Berea-Midpark, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Elyria Catholic will face off against Vermilion at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Berea-Midpark, they will challenge Valley Forge at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
