Recap: Naaman Forest Rangers vs. Garland Owls
The Naaman Forest Rangers won the last time they faced the Garland Owls, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Naaman Forest blew past Garland 62-40. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Naaman Forest has managed all season.
Despite the defeat, Garland had strong showings from Brennon Workmon, who scored 11 points, and Jaierick Moore jr, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Workmon has scored all season.
Naaman Forest's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-18. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Garland, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
Naaman Forest will be playing at home against South Garland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Garland comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Garland, they will head out on the road to face off against Sachse at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sachse knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 11 games -- so hopefully Garland likes a good challenge.
