The Sudan Hornets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Floydada Whirlwinds at 8:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Sudan waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They secured a 79-73 W over Lockney. 79 seems to be a good number for Sudan as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Floydada's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell to Hale Center 65-60.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Tyrean Henderson, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Trevino, who scored ten points along with six steals and five assists.

Sudan's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Floydada, their loss dropped their record down to 17-7.
