            Basketball Preview: Bath County Chargers vs. Meadow Bridge Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            The Bath County Chargers and the Meadow Bridge Wildcats will round out the year against one another at  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday.
Last Friday, Bath County was just a bucket shy of victory  and fell  33-32 to Eastern Montgomery. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now lost seven in a row.
Meanwhile, Meadow Bridge put another one in the bag  on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their  matchup  with ease, bagging  a  47-7 win over Van. With the Wildcats ahead  26-0 at the half, the  contest was all but over already.
Bath County better keep an eye on  Kierston Rozell. She was instrumental in Meadow Bridge's win,  going 6 for 10  on her way to 15  points. Rozell is also on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last four games she's  played dating back to last season.  Kyndal Gilkerson was another key player,  going 6 for 8  on her way to 12  points.
 Meadow Bridge  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 15  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least 15  offensive rebounds in three consecutive  games.
 Bath County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Meadow Bridge, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
 Bath County was dealt a bruising  45-10 loss at the hands of Meadow Bridge when the teams last played  back in December of 2022. Can Bath County avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
