Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Moline). Their defense stepped up to hand the Sterling Golden Warriors a 7-0 shutout on Tuesday. Moline haven't had any issues with Sterling recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Moline's offense was hitting Sterling from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Keeley Mckenzie led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Moline's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Sterling, they dropped their record down to 3-17 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moline will challenge Metamora at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sterling, they will square off against Monmouth-Roseville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
