Volleyball Recap: Bishop Garrigan Takes a Loss

Bishop Garrigan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Mary's Hawks. If the Golden Bears were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Hawks when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bishop Garrigan's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for St. Mary's, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Bishop Garrigan will welcome North Iowa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Mary's, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Gehlen Catholic on the 20th.
