Baseball Recap: Red Jacket Takes a Loss

Red Jacket came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Gananda Central Blue Panthers, falling 10-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Red Jacket has suffered since April 14th.

Red Jacket saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Henry, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Henry is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Red Jacket's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Gananda Central, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3.

Red Jacket wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-9 defeat against Dundee on the 12th. As for Gananda Central, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 win against Red Creek on the 12th.
