Basketball Game Preview: Lee Ganders vs. West Brook Bruins

The Lee Ganders will challenge the West Brook Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Lee is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Barbers Hill on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Lee had to suffer through a 70-37 loss at the hands of Barbers Hill. The Ganders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-17.

Meanwhile, West Brook entered their tilt with Nederland on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They claimed a resounding 67-31 victory over the Bulldogs. Given the Bruins' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 183rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 1087th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

West Brook has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.1 points per game. As for Lee, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-14.
