Baseball Recap: McCallie Blue Tornado vs. McMinn County Cherokees

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Baylor, McCallie was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the McMinn County Cherokees by a score of 12-8. The win continues a trend for the Blue Tornado in their matchups with the Cherokees: they've now won four in a row.

Kelby Barnett looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because McCallie is 3-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 8-15 otherwise.
