Basketball Recap: Littleton Beats Groveton for Their 29th Straight Win

Littleton put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 52-36 victory over the Groveton Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Crusaders also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Littleton pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points per game. As for Groveton, they moved to 6-1 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Littleton and Groveton should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New Hampshire Rankings. Littleton (ranked third) will meet White Mountains (ranked 31st) at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Littleton's defense has only allowed 27.9 points per game this season, so Groveton's offense will have their work cut out for them. Similarly, Groveton will square off against Pittsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Monday up 28 places (4 vs. 32).
